UGC NET Answer Key 2024 : The NTA has released the UGC NET Final Answer Key on 11 October 2024. The UGC Reschedule CBT exam was held from 21 August to 5 September 2024. Now on 7 September 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET Answer Key. The candidates can download the Question Ppaer PDF, Response (OMR) Sheet, and File the objection in Answer Key from 7 September (From 05:00 pm) to 9 September (up to 11:50 pm). The candidates can check the UGC NET Answer Key from the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET Qualification
- Master’s degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university (list available at UGC Portal)
- Minimum marks:
- General/Unreserved/EWS: 55%
- OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender: 50%
- Final year Master’s students can apply provisionally (must complete the degree within 2 years for JRF or 1 year for Ph.D. eligibility).
- Ph.D. holders with a Master’s completed before September 19th, 1991 get a 5% relaxation (50% marks eligibility).
- 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks (or equivalent grade) allows appearing for NET but only qualifies for JRF and Ph.D. admission (not Assistant Professor).
- Final-year students of a 4-year bachelor’s program can apply provisionally (must complete the degree within specified timelines based on qualification).
- Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree can appear in any NET subject for Ph.D. irrespective of their bachelor’s discipline.
UGC NET June 2024 Exam Pattern
The Test will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between papers. Each question carries two (2) marks. For each correct response, the candidate will get two marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
