Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the PST Schedule and Admit Card for Advertisement Number 06/2024 for the recruitment of 6000 Constables including 5000 Males and 1000 Females. The HSSC released the Haryana Police Constable Notification on 28 June and online applications were invited from 29 June to 11 July 2024. The PMT Result is declared and candidates are now called for the PST Exam from 1 to 10 August 2024.

Age Limit Detail

Age Limit: The age limit for Haryana Police Vacancy 2024 is 18-28 Years for Constables and 21-30 Years for Sub-Inspector. (Age Relaxation of 3 Years Given to All Candidates). The crucial date for the calculation of the age as on 01 February 2024. The age Relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.

Haryana Police Constable Vacancy 2024 Selection Process

As per the new recruitment rules of the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, candidates 10 times of the vacancies will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). As per the new recruitment rules, the PMT and PET will be qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded for PMT and PET. After that, the written exam will be conducted that includes 100 questions for 94.5 Marks.

The candidates will also be given 2.5 marks for socio-economic criteria and 3 marks for the NCC certificate. The Selection Process of Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2023 includes the following Stages:

• Stage-1: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)- Qualifying
• Stage-2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- Qualifying
• Stage-3: Written Exam- 94.5% Weightage
• Stage-4: Document Verification- 5.5% weightage (3% NCC, 2.5% Socio-Economic Criteria)
• Stage-5: Medical Examination

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission shall shortlist candidates equal to four times the number of advertised posts for each category among those who have qualified for their Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test, to further appear in the Knowledge Test. The detailed procedure of the test shall be as follows:

• (a) All candidates shall have to undergo a knowledge test of ninety-four point five percent (94.5%) weightage comprising of objective type, multiple choice questions. Each question will carry equal marks.
• (b) The medium of examination shall be bilingual i.e. Hindi/English except where the knowledge of Hindi/ English language of the candidates is to be tested.
• (c) The test paper shall include questions on General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, other relevant fields/trades, etc. There shall be at least 10% questions relating to basic knowledge of computers and at least 20% questions relating to basic knowledge about Haryana. The standard of questions shall be as expected of an educated person, having passed the 10+2 examination for the post of Constable and graduating for the post of Sub-Inspector.
• (d) To be considered for selection against a post of general category, a candidate has to secure a minimum of 50% marks (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage) in the Knowledge Test. In case of consideration against a reserved category post (whether vertical or horizontal) the candidate shall receive a concession of 10% i.e. the minimum cut-off for such candidates shall be 40% (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage).
