Goa Home Guard Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
The candidates need to satisfy the eligibility conditions defined in terms of age limit, domicile, physical standards, and minimum educational qualification.
- Candidates must be aged between 20 to 50 years.
- Candidates should have passed VIIIth class.
- Candidates will have to submit a 15 years residential certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
- The minimum height requirement for male candidates is 5’5″ and the same for females is 4’11”.
Goa Home Guard Recruitment 2024 Syllabus
Candidates need to know GOA Home guard Syllabus 2024 as it is of primary importance. Questions will not be asked out of the official Goa Police Home Guard Syllabus. For the Goa Home Guard exam, the syllabus covers General Knowledge (including history, geography, current affairs, etc.), Mathematics (number systems, percentages, time & work, etc.), and General English (grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, etc.). It’s essential for candidates to focus on these areas to succeed in the examination.
Goa Home Guard Exam Pattern 2024
The selection stages include two main exams namely physical measurement and efficiency test and a written exam. The candidates can find the pattern for these exams below.
A. Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test
The candidates who will be satisfying the minimum height requirement will be allowed to participate in the physical efficiency test. This test will consist of running and shall be qualifying in nature.
