| Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) (Revised) | Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.ORBachelor’s Degree with Diploma (one year) in Library Science will also be eligible OR iii) Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of working experience in Library and Information Centre will also be allowed to take admissions into the course |

Along with the aforementioned qualification, candidates also require to be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. There will be a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD categories. Relaxations will be given to Kashmiri migrants and war widow candidates as per the rules of the university. |
